Hi, I'm Sasha
I've loved baking for as long as I can remember. After years in specialty coffee and pastry, I moved to Portland and decided to open a shop of my own. sasha's bakeshop is a licensed home microbakery in SE Portland, and everything is mixed, proofed, and baked in my kitchen, usually with two dogs stationed hopefully by the oven.*
Here's the truth: I'm obsessed. Obsessed with food, obsessed with perfecting a recipe until I can't stop reaching for another one, obsessed with hunting down the fun new flavor I've never tried. My favorite part of going anywhere new is ordering the thing I've never heard of, and that's exactly the fun I want to share here. Familiar enough to crave, different enough to surprise you.
Orders open every Thursday at 9am and everything is baked fresh Saturday morning. Specials rotate weekly, and the mainstays are always there.
